About The Position

As a Security Installation Foreman, your primary function is to lead a team in installing and troubleshooting low voltage panels, wiring, associated devices, IP video systems, and intrusion systems. You will primarily work with systems such as Lenel, S2, Milestone, DMP, and Axis cameras, typically under minimal supervision. Training in specific systems can be provided.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience.
  • Mastery knowledge of intrusion systems, IP Video, and access control systems specifically Lenel/S2, Milestone, and DMP systems.
  • Ability to read plans, use a variety of tools, and install panels, boxes, and wiring accordingly.
  • Proficient knowledge of OSHA Regulations and comprehension of national electronic code, state and local construction codes.
  • Strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.
  • Ability to determine and implement resolutions to complex field situations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead others and manage multiple projects.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to clear a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., maneuver into and out of heavy equipment, and work on ladders and other elevated locations, including standing for extended periods, and occasionally working outside in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Ability to maintain composure, keep emotions in check and avoid aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
  • Ability to multi-task and proactively balance time management, quality installation, and project budget awareness.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and function and work comfortably alone and with others on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Installs and troubleshoots low voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices, including IP video systems and intrusion systems.
  • Provides onsite supervision of electronic installers on multiple worksites and coordinates daily activities for assigned worksites.
  • Proctors, coaches, and teaches others.
  • Provides reliable, high-quality customer support and instruction on system operation and functionality.
  • Performs system testing and signal verification.
  • Maintains necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
  • Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support for efficient task execution.
  • Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Provides documentation of service and hours worked.
  • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Completes other projects as assigned.
  • Travels in the state of Texas when applicable.
