We are seeking a Project Financial Analyst to support finance-related deliverables for Technology Operations projects and or/programs. This person will work closely with the existing Program Management, Business Operations, Financial Operations, and Enterprise Technology Finance teams to support detailed financial tracking needs. Functions include financial budgeting/planning, tracking actuals, preparing accruals, conducting financial forecasting, and liaising with project owners to ensure delivery is within budget.

Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple project financials, priorities, and tasks across teams
  • Experience preparing detailed monthly financial project/program reports and leading meetings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership
  • High-level professional experience with office productivity suites (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong project management and resource planning experience
  • Functional understanding of financial processes and terminology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a highly complex, diverse environment
  • Comfortable around technology

Responsibilities

  • Support, manage and track the project financials for multiple active programs or projects of moderate complexity while working closely with the appropriate business and functional partners
  • Track detailed financials based on the project plan, commitments, contracts/SOWs, invoice management (day-to-day financial management of project spend)
  • Prepare and update bottom-up project financial plans, forecasts, and other forward-looking financial reviews, proactively identifying issues, and providing commentary
  • Report monthly actuals activity on project financials and lead meetings with project leaders monthly to review project forecast updates, clearly articulating project variances to forecast and outline cause of change
  • Serve as a trusted point-of-contact for questions around project financials
  • Track overall Technology spend and engage with finance in quarterly financial planning and reporting
  • Provide input on project accounting/finance process improvements
  • Compile and log project costs and submit to management and finance for quarterly accruals and AOP tracking
  • Assist in annual planning activities
  • Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies and best practices
  • Maintain purchase order (PO) tracking process and work with finance to ensure timely processing PO requests and corresponding invoices
  • Oversee the procurement cycle from forecast to project to purchasing to inventory in conjunction with applicable managers
  • Coordinate fiscal planning with Project and Program Management tracked initiatives
  • Aggregate data and tracking for inventory and utilization reports
  • Facilitate the acquisition of equipment or software with casual buyer
  • Prepare financial accruals, coordinate quarter closing, and organize annual budgeting across teams in Technology Operations
  • Coordinate operations projects in conjunction with Technology and Project Coordinators
