About The Position

As a Project Financial Advisor, you’ll support the financial health of projects that shape communities. You’ll help bring clarity and consistency to project financials—making it easier for project teams to stay on track and enabling leaders to make sound decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting financial activities within projects or business operations.
  • A post‑secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Comfort working with financial data, including basic forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and ease working in Microsoft Office tools.
  • An interest in learning project financial processes and building your advisory skills.
  • A collaborative approach, with sound judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers by providing clear financial information to help guide day‑to‑day project decisions.
  • Assist in tracking project performance, including costs, forecasts, and key financial indicators.
  • Help prepare financial summaries and reports for project and portfolio reviews.
  • Work with teams to build and update project budgets, cost estimates, and billing‑related data.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate revenue recognition, accruals, and other key financial processes.
  • Provide financial input for bids and proposals to support informed commercial decisions.
  • Help teams understand the financial impacts of changes throughout the project lifecycle.
