Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience, with real estate or construction accounting preferred
Proven experience leading and managing large teams with a focus on accountability and results
Strong understanding of job costing, draw processes, and financial reconciliations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems (RealPage experience a plus)

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 9, driving accountability, performance, and collaboration
Oversee project, pre-development, and construction accounting operations from set-up through close
Manage the full monthly draw cycle, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation
Ensure accurate job cost tracking, financial reporting, and general ledger integrity
Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure timely, accurate disbursements
Manage bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting requirements
Partner cross-functionally to support project funding, compliance, and financial success
