Project Field Technician
About The Position
BECI is seeking a Project Field Technician to join their team in the Houston, TX market. This position is considered regional, but out-of-market travel may be required to support other branches/markets. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys people but functions well independently, thrives when multitasking, has a natural sense of urgency with attention to detail, enjoys following established processes, and prefers working outdoors over desk work. Requirements
- OSHA - 10 Certification
- Minimum of 2-4 years actively working in the construction industry; with the desire to grow technically
Nice To Haves
- RRO or RRC preferred through IIBEC
- Other applicable certifications achieved from recognized construction and building envelope related organizations such as: IIBEC, Inc., CSI, ACI, ASCE, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
- Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
- Producing reports based on investigations.
- Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
- Providing technical support to staff, as required.
- Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
- Domestic and international travel required
