We are seeking an experienced Project Field Support Representative to oversee the successful execution of field-based technology projects, including new store openings, rollouts, moves/adds/changes (MACs), warranty work, and time-and-material service engagements. This role serves as the primary point of contact during project execution, providing technical guidance and coordination for field technicians and 1099 contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to customer expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field technician experience in POS, retail technology, or related technical support environments.
  • Experience coordinating or dispatching field technicians and contractors.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across POS systems, cameras, printers, networking, and computer hardware.
  • Experience with service management, dispatch, or ticketing platforms (NetSuite experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage live field execution of technology projects after initial dispatch through completion.
  • Support technicians and contractors with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate warranty work, MAC requests, cable installations, and other project-related services.
  • Monitor project progress, documentation, and ticket completion.
  • Schedule and coordinate service activities with customers and field personnel.
  • Ensure work aligns with customer agreements and company standards.
  • Arrange return visits, parts orders, and escalation of issues as needed.
  • Provide technical support for POS systems, cameras, networking equipment, printers, payment processing systems, and related technologies.
