About The Position

Provides senior execution leadership for multiple mid-size projects or a large, complex construction project, with accountability for overall project outcomes. Leads project managers and senior project teams to ensure delivery aligned with DPR Construction’s safety, quality, planning, schedule, financial, and risk objectives. Partners with the General Superintendent and field operations executive-BU as a unified leadership team, sharing responsibility and accountability for project performance, field integration, and team leadership. Serves as the primary escalation point for complex execution, stakeholder, and contractual issues while maintaining strong client and trade partner relationships. Drives strategic improvement of the deal through active engagement of the Family of Companies and by fostering strategic partnerships with Self-Perform Work (SPW) executives and leaders to strengthen integrated delivery outcomes. Strengthens project performance and leadership capability through oversight, coaching, and disciplined execution practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management or operations required.
  • Experience leading multiple mid-size projects or a large, complex project required.
  • OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads execution of multiple mid-size projects or a large project, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Directs and supports project managers and project teams, providing guidance on complex execution challenges and decision-making.
  • Serves as the primary point of escalation for significant project risks, client concerns, contractual matters, and performance issues.
  • Oversees project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, contract administration, and risk management strategies.
  • Partners with superintendents and safety leadership to reinforce consistent field presence, safety leadership behaviors, and disciplined high-risk activity planning and execution.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, designers, support resources, and key trade partners to support collaboration, issue resolution, and repeat work.
  • Mentors and develops project leaders by providing coaching, performance feedback, and guidance on individualized development and training plans.
