About The Position

APTIM is seeking a Project Environmental Data Analyst to work exclusively on a Key Client National Account. The role manages client and vendor datasets in various formats and turns them into reliable datasets, project databases, and useful Power BI dashboards. The analyst partners with project managers and technical specialists to understand reporting needs, recommend meaningful metrics and trend analyses, evaluate data workflows, and independently build and maintain tools from initial requirements through ongoing use. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to deliver accurate, understandable information are central to the position. Environmental data and AI experience are valued but not required. The analyst combines, cleans, standardizes, and reconciles information from Excel workbooks, client exports, vendor reports, and project databases; analyzes data across sites, periods, and sources; and develops repeatable reporting processes and structured datasets. The role also includes validating results against source records, documenting assumptions and exceptions, coordinating technical interpretation with environmental specialists, maintaining tools and refresh processes, and managing assigned deliverables with limited day-to-day supervision. APTIM is a professional solutions firm specializing in environmental, sustainability, resilience, and infrastructure solutions for government agencies, commercial and industrial clients, and energy customers. The company describes its purpose as enhancing environmental quality, people’s wellbeing, community resilience, and employee opportunity.
