About The Position

The Project Engineering Coordinator role manages engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The role supports strategic focuses on Capacity Expansion and Debottlenecking, Product Portfolio Growth, CapEx Execution Excellence, and Reliability and Asset Improvement. This involves increasing plant throughput, enabling new product introductions, executing projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, and improving plant reliability. Key responsibilities include executing work in Project Engineering, managing projects from start to finish, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves developing equipment specifications, process designs, P&IDs, and technical scopes of work. Reviewing and approving engineering drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation is crucial, as is ensuring compliance with company standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements. Leading Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and safety reviews are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • BS Engineering; Preferred Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical focus
  • 4-6 Years Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP, CAD)
  • Familiarity with Project Management principals
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to analyze/interpret data and compile reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Manages engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals effectively.
  • Develop equipment specifications, process designs, P&IDs, and technical scopes of work for plant modifications and capital projects.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, vendor documentation, and technical deliverables.
  • Ensure all engineering designs comply with applicable company standards, industry codes, regulatory requirements, and good engineering practices.
  • Lead Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and safety reviews to ensure risks are identified and minimized prior to implementation.
