About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled level 3 Project Engineer with an active Secret clearance to work from our Boulder, CO, location. As a Project Engineer for the OPIR Infrastructure Team, you will provide support to Product Owners and Engineering Managers, working under very general supervision in support of larger team goals. You will support schedules/timelines for product team execution, help coordinate inter-team dependencies and drive transparency across product teams, anticipating obstacles to performance. You will also support and participate in working groups and technical exchange meetings, and support staff meetings, documentation, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned. Apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals. Relentlessly seek automation opportunities in support of process improvement and embedded quality. Be organized and flexible with strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and capacity to manage multiple tasks while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an EARLY-MID (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with project management
  • Practical knowledge of project management tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Active Secret clearance is required prior to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • BS degree

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility and determination to learn new skills
  • Experience with Linux, A+, Sec+, and or Net+
  • Process improvement experience
  • Experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
