About The Position
Exp Federal is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team to support Project Managers for construction and mission support type projects globally. The company is a full-service architectural, engineering, and construction firm that provides design solutions and construction support to the federal government, operating in challenging environments worldwide.
Requirements
- Engineering, architecture or equivalent Construction Management Degree required
- 7+ Years of experience working on construction or construction management projects, including on-site experience.
Nice To Haves
- International experience is a plus.
- U.S. DoD construction experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers coordinating Production, Quality Control, Health and Safety, and international support staff
- Monitor subcontractor performance
- Generate internal and external project reports
- Assist with preparing bids and proposals and providing subject matter material
- Review project schedules. Support the development and updating of project schedules
- Input submittments and other data into the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Resident Management System (RMS)
- Review invoices and track billings
- Write and review construction Safety Plans, Quality Control Plans and Work Plans
- Review design submittals and provide comments to the design team on Design-Build projects
- Perform site visits to confirm quality performance and project execution
- Communicate effectively with U.S. DOD active duty and civilian personnel and multi-cultural staff and subcontractors.
