About The Position

Focusing on deepwater installations and field developments, we deliver tailored solutions—from the routine to the extreme.   • Ability to prepare design changes, specifications, schematics, and test plans.
  • Ability to conduct engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Ability to prepare installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to review product designs.
  • Ability to attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
  • Ability to prepare presentations, articles, and technical papers.
  • Ability to interface with Document Control, Design Analyst, and Design/Drafters.
  • Ability to interface with project team members and Clients.
  • Ability to perform non-engineering activities such as oversight of offshore operations and on-site oversight of OPG projects and subcontractors.
  • Willingness for sporadic work and travel in EMEA, both onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities

  • Carries out tasks as assigned by the Engineering Lead, focusing on technical issues, administrative functions, and project management.
  • Works with Project Manager(s) to ensure all project objectives, schedules, deliverables, and milestones are met.
  • Supports the installation engineering of subsea hardware through development, evaluation, engineering, design, controls, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Creates installation engineering procedures and specifications for compliance with design principles, applicable standards, and customer requirements.
  • Prepares design changes, specifications, schematics, and test plans for installation equipment and subsea hardware, including equipment location and vendor selection assistance.
  • Conducts engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Prepares installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Reviews product designs and conducts/attends Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
  • Prepares presentations, articles, and technical papers.
  • Interfaces with Document Control, Design Analyst, and Design/Drafters.
  • Interfaces with project team members and Clients in and out of meetings.
  • Performs non-engineering activities such as oversight of offshore operations and on-site oversight of OPG projects and subcontractors.
  • Sporadic work and travel in EMEA, both onshore and offshore, is expected.
