As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers you will manage and coordinate engineering and technical aspects of a project, ensuring it meets deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. You will be the primary point-of-contact to our customers in this role, reporting progress on a regular cadence. They are involved in various stages, from planning and design to execution and completion, often collaborating with various teams. Their responsibilities include supervising workflow, allocating resources, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering discipline
  • >5 years experience in product design, manufacturing, and/or sustaining engineering for Aerospace or Defense
  • Demonstrated aptitude in leading cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Solid technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinating and allocating resources like materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Ensuring the project adheres to engineering principles and product assurance requirements.
  • Working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Identifying potential issues and developing solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Tracking progress, managing budgets, and reporting on project status.
  • Managing and tracking project change orders.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
