As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. And when your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering and Purchasing teams. We’ll appreciate your creative, solutions-oriented approach, your solid technical know-how, your impressive teamwork skills, and the way we can count on you to get things done - and get them done well. In this role, you will participate as a member of a project team comprised of PM, Buyers, Customer Service, & others in order to successfully complete conveyor & material handling projects. You will own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules, budgets, & tracking engineering change orders. You will interact with customers, vendors, and other suppliers to review & evaluate system & equipment designs. You will perform engineering design evaluations and work to complete projects with direction from Project Team Lead. You will review customer specifications to confirm adherence to these during design process. You will provide technical support for the engineering process. You will use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system & detailed design drawings. You will check drawings produced by others for accuracy.
