About The Position

Oxford Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer for an opportunity with a client in the commercial construction industry. The Project Engineer supports Project Managers in coordinating and executing commercial construction projects, helping keep schedules, documentation, and subcontractor activities on track. The role is suited to someone with a construction background, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial construction or construction project coordination.
• Familiarity with construction processes, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and support several projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent construction experience is also considered.
• Experience with construction management or estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of commercial construction projects.
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to support project schedules and deliverables.
• Maintain and distribute project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Track project progress, schedules, and outstanding action items.
• Assist with subcontractor pricing, change orders, and material coordination.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate project records.
• Support project inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Help resolve project issues and ensure timely communication between stakeholders.
