Here, you will make an impact by leading capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal. You will lead teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations. You will utilize project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Two (2) years of combined experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Provide education and work history, either by uploading a resume or entering the information into the application fields directly.

Nice To Haves

  • Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
  • Prior experience with weblines, extrusion, material handling, automation, and/or inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal.
  • Lead teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations.
  • Utilize project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
