About The Position

Garney is hiring a Project Engineer to support its project management team and help keep projects on track. The role assists with negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining project documents, and serving as a point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers. It offers entry-level project management experience in plant operations. The ideal candidate has a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, and is willing to travel and work the days and hours needed for project success.

Responsibilities

Create submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
Coordinate projects from start to finish.
Assist with estimating.
Support project setup and closeout.
Support field operations.
Maintain detailed job costs.
Work professionally with owners and engineers.
Assist with scheduling projects and crews.
Assist the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials and maintaining documents.
Act as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
