We are adding Project Engineers to our Central Division of Kiewit to support our growing Infrastructure project portfolio around the country. You could be supporting power, major highway infrastructure projects, bridge projects, rail/transit, aviation, and/or water/wastewater facilities. All of our work is self-perform, and our Central teams are the first construction team to the site, performing site prep for the roads, bridges or industrial facilities. Our team performs concrete work (formwork, rebar, embeds, placement, finishing, and curing), mass grading/excavation, cut and fill, drainage, paving, underground piping and utility work, earthwork, site development, asphalt paving, and related activities in states across the central region of the US. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, managing a team of field and cost engineers. In this role, you will be the main conduit of information between the Project or Construction Manager and the team for cost, revenue, cash flow information; and therefore, requires strong interpersonal and time management skills. Project Engineers may work as the Project Manager on some of our smaller projects and will be expected to develop the team below them.
