About The Position

Assist in planning, directing, coordinating, and implementing activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and programs to minimize environmental risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant industry experience in environmental/remediation construction, familiar with environmental remedial actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • 40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff and subcontractors.
  • Ability to write project work plans, health and safety plans, traffic control plans, erosion control plans, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time to project sites, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • S./ P.E. or other professional certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting environmental/remediation construction projects
  • Previous experience in preparing or contributing to project proposals

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will include project and task completion, preparing technical reports, sampling and analysis plans, health and safety plans, remedial action work plans, and permit applications,
  • Conduct soil and groundwater sampling and other environmental field activities, as needed
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA)
  • Take ownership of assignments delegated from the Project Manager and/or Supervisor and successfully complete assignments within the allocated budget and schedule
  • Understands all aspects of technical projects, including scheduling, cost controls, and cost tracking.
  • Manages Project Manager and Supervisor expectations and maintains routine communication with Project Manager and Supervisor
