Requirements

  • 5-7 Years experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering or capital equipment projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Understanding of project management principles, early equipment management, lean manufacturing, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Projects include execution of ice cream packaging line install, ice cream process improvements, plant utilities modifications, refrigeration projects, and civil construction of buildings.
  • Review engineering drawings, align the drawings with site Safety, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams before finalizing and supervising the execution of projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and external vendors
  • Design, specify, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and progress reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company best practices
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, process flows, and SOPs
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement engineering solutions to improve reliability and throughput
  • Track project performance metrics and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders
