Job Description NUEVA OPORTUNIDAD DE CARRERA | OFICINAS CENTRALES ARTEAGA INGENIERO DE PROYECTOS Ubicación: Oficinas centrales (estructura corporativa), sede Arteaga, Coah Responsible for detailed follow-up on the plant floor for the execution of activities related to the transfer of production processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements in terms of time, cost, and quality established, as well as the timely flow of information to corporate first-line contacts and plant management. Ensure the correct implementation of plant activities related to transfers, validations, installation, startup, process release, and production stabilization, maintaining effective coordination between the areas involved and supporting the Launch Manager in the integral execution of the project. Contribute to the achievement of project objectives, primarily ensuring the disciplined execution of the activity plan, addressing deviations identified on the floor, timely reporting of progress, risks, and support needs, as well as punctual follow-up on agreements generated between the origin plant, destination plant, and involved functional groups.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years in the automotive industry with participation in launches, process transfers, industrialization, manufacturing projects, or implementation of changes in the plant.
  • Experience in interfunctional coordination, addressing operational problems, and supporting validations or process startups.
  • Experience in Run@Rate, process or equipment release, equipment installation, layout changes, production stabilization, and technical process documentation.
  • Knowledge in welding, assembly, stamping, or related processes.
  • Follow-up and control of activities, sense of urgency, and results-oriented approach.
  • Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on the plant floor for the completion of project activities associated with the transfer of production processes, according to the defined master plan.
  • Coordinate and verify on the floor the execution of installation, movement, adaptation, validation, startup, and process release activities, according to the corresponding project stage.
  • Serve as the first-line operational contact between the plant and the involved corporate groups, ensuring a clear, timely flow of information aligned with project priorities.
  • Ensure punctual follow-up on activities assigned to plant functional areas such as Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Supply Chain, and support areas.
  • Support the execution of process validations, pilot runs, Run@Rate, releases, capacity tests, and other activities required for process transfer or stabilization.
  • Follow up on the closure of pending items, open actions, and deviations identified during project execution, ensuring timely escalation when applicable.
  • Record and update project progress in defined tracking tools, including PDCA-Wall or other systems established by the organization.
  • Verify in the field the compliance with technical, quality, safety, ergonomics, and operational requirements related to project implementation.
  • Actively participate in project follow-up meetings and prepare progress reports for communication with corporate and plant management.
  • Ensure follow-up on process stabilization in the plant once the transfer is completed, supporting problem resolution and the consolidation of operational conditions.
  • Collaborate in the identification, documentation, and escalation of risks that may impact time, cost, quality, safety, or supply continuity.
