About The Position

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing projects from contract award through final delivery. This role requires close collaboration with various teams, including supply chain, project controls, design, and quality engineering, to ensure the successful execution of fabrication, machining, and inspection activities. You will report to the Engineering Manager and the position is located at Newington, NH, requiring 100% onsite presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and CAD software.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with CNC machining processes, welding technology, dimensional inspection, and NDE processes.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret purchase orders, specifications, and engineering drawings to define manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and issue purchase requisitions for raw materials and components observing contract requirements.
  • Create detailed manufacturing flow charts and support project controls in developing production schedules.
  • Prepare shop travelers to guide fabrication, machining, and inspection operations.
  • Partner with operations teams on fixture design and process optimization.
  • Lead pre-job briefings on critical manufacturing tasks.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformances in collaboration with other teams and external customers.
  • Provide on-the-floor technical support to operations, ensuring resolution of issues.
