About The Position

As a Project Engineer responsible for Program Integration, you will ensure end-to-end integration of Operational related activities, including support Program Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, Planning Meetings, and Technical Director Reviews. You will lead Integrated Product Teams and ensure program readiness heading into major milestones. This role involves facilitating communication and collaboration across related projects and SSP customers to reduce programmatic risk and ensure operational readiness. You will coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Engineering projects within your area of responsibility. Additionally, you will help develop timely resolution plans for issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation, and resolve systems engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs. You will ensure proper coordination and balance of cost, schedule, and technical impacts across activities in a manner that supports schedules. General duties include project management functions such as program planning, contract interpretation, system integration, and cost and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Familiarity with operation activities within aerospace or a related industry
  • Experience leading or integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams
  • Experience with a combination of design, test, operations and engineering disciplines.
  • Experience on a missile program
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with FBM Operations activities
  • Familiarity with FBM Configuration Management (OD 55331 and SSPINST 4720.1)
  • Knowledge or experience with SPALT proposal process and submission process
  • Knowledge of the Strategic Weapons System (Fire Control, Guidance, Reentry and Launch)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical, operational leads and multiple Strategic System Partners (SSP) customers to manage cost, schedule, and technical scopes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • DoD TS clearance
