Responsible for technical leadership of a project and supporting the Project Manager in managing project performance of the engineering team with respect to cost, schedule, and client satisfaction. This work will be performed under minimal supervision. Primary responsibilities include informing the Hargrove Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems encountered on the project, coordinating with the Client on technical design issues, and coordinating with the Project Management Team on execution issues. The role involves supporting the PM in managing engineering budgets and schedules, facilitating scope changes, reporting engineering status, planning and scheduling engineering resources, and ensuring discipline awareness of man-hours and estimate basis. The Project Engineer will also develop or facilitate the development of project-specific engineering and design procedures, coordinate engineering input for scope-defining documents, and ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables. This includes leading inter-discipline coordination, resolving design issues, reviewing 3D models for coordination and loss prevention, and reviewing all design deliverables for inter-discipline consistency and adequacy. The role also ensures overall quality control of engineering work.
