About The Position

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Masthead International, Inc. (MII) - 521 Tempe operations in Tempe, Arizona. The role supports rigging operations and works under the oversight of a project manager, with the goal of advancing to oversee independent projects. This is a safety-sensitive position. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience supporting or managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI scopes of work, including MII scopes of work.
• Experience managing specialty construction scopes.
• OSHA certification.
• Local to the Tempe, Arizona area.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare requests for information (RFIs) and submittals.
• Conduct quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support quality-control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
