About The Position

This position is responsible for acting as a liaison between internal departments, customers & suppliers ensuring projects are launched on time, within budget, with a focus on safety and quality. You must submit a resume to be considered for this role.

Requirements

4-year college degree or 2-year college degree with relevant work experience.
Background in mechanical or industrial engineering.
2+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in Industrial automation, CNC machining or automated Mig welding preferred.
Experience actively participating in and/or managing projects and project teams preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in creation and the managing of project related budgets in regard to manpower, customer tooling, capital equipment and other department or project needs.
Ability to create Operation standards, APQP/PPAP documents, Bills of materials, project schedules, part sketches, material/parts lists, plant layout designs, purchased components lists, process engineering plans.
Oversee internal and external cross-functional project teams and/or vendors to ensure successful project execution using performance metrics, schedule management, issue tracking, and corrective action planning while driving continuous improvement through PDCA principles.
Support pre-production builds and shipments, customer visits when applicable, part approvals, communicate engineering/customer changes internally.
Initial start-up tracking, manufacturing support, work cell efficiency improvements, trouble shooting, cycle time studies.
Investigate new sources for tooling, equipment, materials, and purchased parts.
All other duties as assigned.
