About The Position

This position is responsible for acting as a liaison between internal departments, customers & suppliers ensuring projects are launched on time, within budget, with a focus on safety and quality. You must submit a resume to be considered for this role.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or 2-year college degree with relevant work experience.
  • Background in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in Industrial automation, CNC machining or automated Mig welding preferred.
  • Experience actively participating in and/or managing projects and project teams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creation and the managing of project related budgets in regard to manpower, customer tooling, capital equipment and other department or project needs.
  • Ability to create Operation standards, APQP/PPAP documents, Bills of materials, project schedules, part sketches, material/parts lists, plant layout designs, purchased components lists, process engineering plans.
  • Oversee internal and external cross-functional project teams and/or vendors to ensure successful project execution using performance metrics, schedule management, issue tracking, and corrective action planning while driving continuous improvement through PDCA principles.
  • Support pre-production builds and shipments, customer visits when applicable, part approvals, communicate engineering/customer changes internally.
  • Initial start-up tracking, manufacturing support, work cell efficiency improvements, trouble shooting, cycle time studies.
  • Investigate new sources for tooling, equipment, materials, and purchased parts.
  • All other duties as assigned.
