About The Position

The Project Engineer supports the design and development of products and product improvements for Flex-N-Gate and its divisions. The role is an integral part of the engineering team and leads projects from initial design concept through development and commercialization.

Requirements

• A four-year engineering bachelor’s degree, minimum.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and design tools.
• Core competencies include problem solving, troubleshooting, time management, accountability and dependability, decision making and judgment, ethics and integrity, planning and organizing, analytical inclination, written and verbal communication, teamwork, mechanical aptitude, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering science and technology—including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment—to the design and production of various goods.
• Use mechanical and design tools.
• Implement design or process improvements.
