About The Position

The Project Engineer is responsible for scenario analysis, scope development, project planning (including budgeting and timelines), project implementation, and commercialization. This role encompasses all aspects of project/construction management, such as electrical, mechanical, and processing/packaging equipment installation. A critical component of the commercialization aspect is the ability to train personnel on equipment, both operationally and technically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years in project engineering
  • 3+ years project management
  • 3+ years AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Electrical, including VFDs
  • Knowledge of Servos
  • Knowledge of High and low voltage troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Ladder logic
  • Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
  • Knowledge of CMMS
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Skill in AutoCAD mechanical drawing development
  • Skill in Project Management
  • Skill in Leadership
  • Skill in Training
  • Skill in Troubleshooting
  • Skill in Gantt Chart Development
  • Skill in Presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Support assigned plants with the development, submission, and execution of capital projects.
  • Participate in OQI (quoting) meetings with plants and provide scope of work (SOW) documents and capital estimates.
  • Develop line layout drawings (AutoCAD) for new lines or modifications to existing lines.
  • Manage contractors during the execution of capital projects.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for active capital projects, including weekly status updates, cashflow reporting, and budget tracking.
