About The Position
Engelberth Construction is seeking Project Engineers to support commercial construction projects throughout Vermont and New Hampshire. This role is ideal for those who are looking to launch their careers in project management. The Project Engineer supports project teams from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring technical documentation, coordination, and project controls are executed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress) in: Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural), Architecture, Business Administration Or related field
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Internship or co-op experience in construction preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage and track submittments, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders
- Assist with cost control and change management processes
- Review drawings and specifications for coordination and constructability
- Support schedule updates and procurement tracking
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers
- Maintain document control in digital project management systems
- Assist with project closeout documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties)
