About The Position

The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting a project management team with various tasks related to jobsite documentation, logistics, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project scheduling. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a basic understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Requirements

  • Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems
  • Capable of reading and comprehending project specifications and technical drawings

Responsibilities

  • Jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, ASIs, supplemental design documentation, QA/QC, submittals, etc.)
  • Manage jobsite logistics such as office supplies and badging/orientation paperwork
  • Coordinate deliveries of equipment and material
  • Assemble estimates and budgets
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Attend project meetings
  • Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
  • Update project schedules
  • Craft productivity tracking
