Hill International is seeking a Project Engineer for transportation/infrastructure/municipal project(s) in Northern Ohio. Responsibilities Oversee and maintain document control system during construction for correspondence, shop drawings, catalog cuts, submittals, RFIs, etc. Review and evaluate submissions and RFIs for cost impacts Coordinate and assist in regular progress meetings and special meetings as required Record, document and issue meeting minutes Assist in the coordination and preparation of agendas Review cost estimates and coordinate value engineering submissions Provide documentation and research for cost negotiations Review design or construction change requests Review contractor submission with emphasis upon maintaining the established construction requirements of the client with respect to the constraints imposed by the contract, such as constructability, physical location and scope of work operations, impact to traffic and roadway conditions, availability of material required and environmental concerns Coordinate with our client for determination, evaluation and assistance in resolution of community issues Assist with change order management, issue resolution, project controls, and reporting; coordinate with on-site Project Managers and Project Directors to ensure client needs are met Provide real-time feedback on construction progress vs projected schedules Site observations/inspections of the work in the field, including assembling daily reports.
