The Project Engineer supports the successful execution of water and wastewater construction projects by providing project coordination, technical support, documentation, and financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, owners, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements, plans and specifications, regulatory standards, and company expectations. The Project Engineer plays a key role in maintaining project organization and supporting the day-to-day management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include assisting with RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, pay applications, cost tracking, schedule updates, project correspondence, and closeout documentation. The role will also support coordination of field activities and help facilitate communication between project stakeholders to identify issues, maintain accountability, and keep work progressing efficiently.
