About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal. You will lead teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations. You will utilize project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of combined experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment.
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Provide education and work history, either by uploading a resume or entering the information into the application fields directly.

Nice To Haves

Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
Prior experience with weblines, extrusion, material handling, automation, and/or inspection equipment.

Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
