About The Position
The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager (PM) and Superintendent in coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must-have for this position.
- Knowledge of construction processes and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity and unquestionable ethics and is a respectful team player
- Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines effectively
- Must have a high standard of quality with strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and company values
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in or project coordination preferred
- Familiarity with construction management software preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicate with vendors and schedule deliveries
- Prepare and post RFIs, ASIs, and COs
- Track submittments and maintain documentation
- Develop ROMs estimates and assist with pricing
- Perform QA / QC checks
- Prepare JHAs and support safety planning
- Facilitate Toolbox Talks
- Other duties as assigned
