Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Proven ability to manage and execute multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in AGILE, Confluence, Jira, and SAP

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of experts, including Project, Design, Structures, Aero, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Industrial Engineering
  • Partner closely with the Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization to ensure seamless integration between engineering and manufacturing, driving efficiency and innovation in production processes
  • Resolve manufacturing challenges and address producibility issues with part producers and suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of spare parts and hardware that supports fleet sustainment and schedule requirements
  • Plan, acquire, and manage budgets for Integrated Product Team (IPT) tasks, applying core Project Engineering skills such as task planning, tracking, and earned value management (EVMS)
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, providing clear, timely updates on task status and technical content to the IPT and Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT)
  • Interface directly with engineering management, program management, suppliers, and customers to drive execution and achieve program objectives
  • Gain exposure to project management frameworks, including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall
  • Travel up to 10% to supplier locations supporting F119 spares production
  • This position requires regular walking and standing while working on the manufacturing floor, with the ability to move through production areas safely
