Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary settings
- Dependable and adaptable to project demands
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD) preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of water and wastewater systems including distribution, collection, and pumping facilities
- Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and evaluate system performance
- Prepare and submit permitting documents; address agency comments
- Collaborate with internal teams and subconsultants to meet project goals
- Maintain technical documentation including reports, plans, and logs
- Support client presentations and technical discussions
- Mentor junior engineers and design staff
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and quality standards
