Project Engineer is responsible for implementing projects in technical service, including improvement of internal and external processes. Responsible for coordinating and fulfilling quality projects and connectivity initiatives on equipment within the North American Service Alliance, responsible for coordinating process changes within Standard Operating Procedures across Technical Service.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
  • Goal orientation and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organizing, communication, team motivation and delegation.
  • Must have excellent follow-up skills and prior experience or equivalent in customer service/technical concentration.
  • Strong written/verbal communication, customer focus and ability to drive change.
  • Organized person with above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimum two-year associates degree with concentration in Engineering principles or suitable combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process owner for quality projects within the North American Service Alliance, alignment with headquarter and coordination with Canada and Mexican service organization, maintain respective KPIs
  • Coordinate and schedule quality project missions for U.S. machines with customers, coordinate implementation of remote projects with product support and service managers
  • Ensure all necessary resources are available at the right place at the right time (technician, tools etc.)
  • Responsibility for spare part coordination for quality projects with counterparts in headquarter
  • Responsibility for connectivity initiative: maintain KPIs, coordinate between Smart Services and Product Support Group, implement new initiatives across technology teams in the US, Canada and Mexico
  • Coordinating process change implementations into Standard Operating Procedures, regular review of existing SOPs
  • Other administrative, project, office and technical tasks as assigned by Service Managers
  • Analyze processes and create process maps
  • Apply project management knowledge and techniques to all tasks, and ensure good project management throughout the department
