About The Position

EGS is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Technical Resource to support Capital Asset Engineering in the management of design engineering deliverables for Capital Line-Item projects from start to finish to ensure the successful execution of project design deliverables. This may include documenting emerging project issues and risks, providing support for project discovery, project scope development, and support for identifying functional requirements for projects and systems. This is a long-term contract position with top competitive rates and great benefits located in Las Vegas, NV supporting our DOE client. Local candidates only. Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to engineering design.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field experience with a minimum of 10 years of professional project engineering/project management experience that provided a thorough knowledge of codes, principles, practices, and techniques of project management as related to facility management and operations type projects.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to engineering design.

Nice To Haves

Current PMP certification considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day generation of engineering deliverables on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
Generate engineering work plans, develop cost estimates with input, monitor cost and schedule performance, and interact professionally with project stakeholders.
