About The Position

You will be the Project Engineer Staff - Level 4 for the F‑35 Reliability & Maintainability Improvement Program which is responsible for advancing aircraft readiness and cost‑effective sustainment. As the Project Engineer Staff - Level 4 you will be responsible for leading cross‑functional engineering initiatives that drive reliability improvements and support senior leadership decision‑making.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in engineering or STEM technical discipline.
Program Management, project engineering, systems engineering or similar experience.
Experience developing and managing project/program schedules.
5+ years professional experience.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree from an accredited college.
Experience working with F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO).
Certified Control Account Manager (CAM) experience in both labor and material.
Understanding of performance based sustainment principles (Air Vehicle Availability, Mission Capability, Life Cycle Cost Avoidances and R&M Metrics).
Experience with F-35 systems and tools (PDM, JDL, LDM, APTS, Tableau, confluence, SharePoint, etc).

Responsibilities

Integrating and communicating across cross‑functional teams and organizations.
Driving engineering improvement projects to completion.
Providing liaison support between engineering leadership and the program management office.
Developing and maintaining briefings, presentations, and engineering metrics.
Leading and supporting status meetings for internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.
