Project Engineer or Sr. Project Engineer
About The Position
Provide project engineering, equipment design, and construction management for capital projects. Manage capital projects ranging from small, replacement in kind maintenance projects to larger, Business Unit approved improvement projects as part of the site's overall growing capital budget. Responsibilities include project submittal, procurement of services and materials, installation, and implementation while maintaining code requirements, budget, and desired time constraints. Managing contractors and outside consultants is a requirement. Engineering design, project evaluation support, and equipment specification. Manage existing programs and implement new programs to ensure that environmental, operational, and compliance needs of the facility are achieved. Support Process Safety Management programs including mechanical integrity, process safety information, and piping and instrument diagrams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience for Project Engineer OR 10+ years of experience for Sr. Project Engineer
- Demonstrated understanding of project management
- Equipment/system design skills
- Code and regulatory knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
