A global leader of naval, military and marine Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems & equipment. Bronswerk provides turnkey solutions for commercial and military vessels through its 12 offices worldwide. Bronswerk manages the entire process, from design to commissioning, installation and in-service support. Working closely with the project team and reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Project Engineer Mechanical will be actively participating in or leading the execution of HVAC system design projects and equipment design projects through their full lifecycle (from design to delivery). You will provide technical and subject matter expertise on marine HVAC-R systems (including airside, chilled water, hot water, and refrigeration) and components, ship design specifications, heating and cooling load calculations, ducting and piping pressure loss calculations, equipment and duct or pipe sizing calculations, noise calculations, control philosophies, custom equipment design, etc. While developing the most effective HVAC-R solutions for various marine applications, the Project Engineer will also support the team in resolving client technical issues and concerns.
