The Project Engineer II supports the technical execution of assigned utility-scale renewable energy projects from late-stage development through construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations. Working independently within established standards and with guidance on more complex matters, this role coordinates with internal stakeholders, EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, and equipment suppliers to help deliver projects safely, on schedule, on budget, and in accordance with TERP’s technical requirements. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The Project Engineer manages defined engineering workstreams, applies sound professional judgment, escalates significant risks and decisions, and contributes project experience and lessons learned to improve engineering practices. Note: For highly qualified candidates who demonstrate significant relevant experience and a strong record of project leadership, consideration may be given to placement as a Senior Project Engineer. Compensation and responsibilities would be aligned with the appropriate level of experience and qualifications.
