Project Engineer II
About The Position
Peerless Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Project Engineer II in Addison, TX. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining timely, accurate output of technical engineering support and managing assigned projects. The engineer will analyze project specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate equipment design using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. They will also provide engineering and technical support to project management and aftermarket teams, offering technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages/limitations. Responsibilities include reviewing general arrangement and detail drawings, directing the preparation of product or system layouts and detailed drawings, evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications, evaluating and approving structural designs, and providing analytical calculations in accordance with governing codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of progressive experience in any related occupation.
- 3 years of experience in AutoCAD.
- 3 years of experience in Autodesk Inventor.
