About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer II to lead and support capital projects, process improvement initiatives, equipment installations, and manufacturing optimization efforts at our Philadelphia, PA plant. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and external vendors to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 years of chemical manufacturing engineering experience or related.
- Experience managing capital or process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- PMP certification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Experience with CAD, ERP, MES, or CMMS systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing and engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
- Support automation, controls, and technology upgrades.
