Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
Ability to problem solve and resolve issues
Detail oriented
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

Executes custom engineered product contracts per engineering processing instructions.
Evaluates, selects, and applies standard industry engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in designing custom engineered product.
Ensures that custom engineered products are designed within code and safety standards, quality standards, reliability standards and compliance standards.
Ensures that custom engineered products are designed and manufactured to meet contract requirements.
Works with equipment suppliers to size, select, specify, and purchase non-standard components to meet customer requirements, using company engineering standards and procedures.
Provides necessary contract documentation for customer/shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required.
Works with drafters to implement manufacturing and customer drawings and/or bills of materials.
Strives for complete customer satisfaction by working closely with all GEA organization units to ensure successful project execution; including supporting GEA Service Support (technical support and warranty group) with problem resolution during system commissioning.
Responds to customer questions and troubleshoots, investigates and resolves technical problems that arise during project execution and system commissioning phases.
Performs other duties as assigned.
