About The Position

As a Project Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will support engineering projects by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of project tasks to ensure timely and successful delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help meet project objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. You will report directly to our Project Manager and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. New hires are expected to report onsite 100% M-F for the first 90 days of employment. In this role, you will impact project success by providing essential engineering support, helping to maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, and facilitating communication across teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering)
  • Minimum 0-2 years of applied engineering experience
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

  • Validation and Verification (V&V)/Development and Qualification Testing experience is a plus
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic actuation is a plus
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) skills is a plus
  • or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
