About The Position
Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer, Foundations to join their team. This role is crucial for supporting the successful completion of foundation projects. The position involves working closely with on-site crews, performing documentation and record-keeping, and planning for future project needs. The Project Engineer will collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents, contributing to essential infrastructure projects that improve lives.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 0-5 years of related experience
- Previous experience working on foundations related projects
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
- Travel required
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key team member supporting all needs for successful foundation project completion.
- Start the day on-site with the crew, ensuring they have everything needed.
- Perform all required documentation and record entry for the project.
- Plan for the next days and weeks ahead to set the crew and project up for success.
- Work closely and communicate with both Project Managers and Superintendents.
