  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients, contractors, and service managers.
  • A degree or formal training in audio/video, information technology, electrical, or engineering technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project managers, sales, engineers, and leadership to define project scope.
  • Visit project sites and review architectural, electrical, and consultant drawings to identify design requirements.
  • Design systems for audio, video, networking, Wi-Fi, and other AV related technologies.
  • Prepare detailed estimates for equipment, labor, engineering, programming, project management, documentation, commissioning, and service.

  • Create and update CAD drawings, equipment plans, and rack elevations.
  • Identify missing or conflicting information, prepare clear RFIs, and flag issues that could affect cost, schedules, or technical requirements.
  • Help improve estimating standards, templates, labor models, and design guidelines.
