About The Position

CIMCO is seeking a Project Engineer Designer to join their Ontario Projects team, based out of their Burlington office. This is an existing vacancy that the company is actively looking to fill. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 1+ years of experience or fresh/recent graduates considered
  • Training and / or experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration; screw compressors, NH3, CO2
  • Knowledge of the SAP platform

Responsibilities

  • Development and design of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Comprehensive drawing of mechanical and / or electrical systems
  • Realization of technical surveys
  • Selection and purchase of equipment, materials, and the tracking of orders.
  • Preparation of “For Coordination”, “For Construction” and "As Built" plans
  • Preparation of instruction and operation manuals
  • Monitoring work on multiple construction site(s)
