Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within 3 months.
  • 5–8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Fort Collins area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

Nice To Haves

  • Min 4 years’ experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure.
  • Min 1 years’ experience with Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Knowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.
  • Shows strong interest in participating in company initiatives
  • Construction field experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate small to medium-sized projects within budget and time constraints.
  • Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.
  • Attend project meetings during design and construction phases.
  • Provide quality control checks of work produced, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Support project construction administration, including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.
  • Monitor project budgets and review/approve client invoices.
  • Work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.
